Two cuzzies living so far away

Leading their families in a Godly way

Examples of goodness and so much care

Showing kindness with love to spare

 

Now one looks like the other even and odd

Just blink and see two peas in a pod

Bonded by family and their stars above

Examples for others and spreading such love

 

Now we hear that twins are close and fun

But these two really are like one

Their lives and journeys even when apart

Are so alike and joined at the heart

 

Teaching everyone to give more than take

In this way they did their families create

It takes people like my cuzzies to know

That a focus on family is the way to go

 

After some hesitation two children each were born

Girls first and then boys followed quite soon

Bringing more love and so much joy

Perfect families with a girl and a boy

 

God took their husbands as angels so early

It seemed so unfair and faith so blurry

But my cuzzies found strength in this cruel place

To live in love and leaning on each other in grace

 

I have travelled and seen such a lot everywhere

Starting in Mount Pleasant and Calvary close there

I have dealt with so many champions shiny and bright

But none come close to my cuzzies shining Gods light

 

As mothers they have shown how families can be grown

With challenges few could understand or have known

Losing your partner, children’s father and friend

Now waiting for you in heavens just around the bend

 

So thank you dear cuzzies for sharing your light

And for what you mean to me and so many others day and night.
